Time to heat them up. I got a few heads from this past fall that need to come in the house. Some people buy their decorations from stores. I get mine from the woods.
There is several steps to making a really good lookin' skull mount. Skinning, boiling, scrapping, and whitening. It takes time, but it's so worth it when the work is done. They really become a piece of art work.
Currently I'm on step one. The first round of boiling after skinning. I will keep you posted on the progress and show you the final products.
