The Reason

I created Minnesota Outdoor Journal.

I did not start the Journal to have the most likes in all of Facebook land.   I did not start the Journal to have the largest following in the media.   I did not start the Journal to become a famous celebrity.   I did not start the Journal to tell everyone what they wanted to hear.   I did not start the Journal to give people a false sense of entitlement.   I did not start the Journal to have everyone agree with me.   Nor did I start the Journal to become someone I'm not.

I did, however, start the Journal to share my passion for our great wilderness.   I did start the Journal to show reality and truth.   I did start the Journal to inspire and recruit outdoors people.   I did start the Journal to help in giving our wild critters a voice worthy of being heard.   I did start the Journal to bring awareness to our lands and the wildlife that inhabits them.   I did start the Journal to share my story, from beginning to end.   I did start the Journal to aide in preserving our outdoor heritage.   I did start the Journal to honor my roots.   And finally, I did start the Journal because the wilderness lives in my soul and continues to make my life rich with adventure and wild experiences.

Thank you dearly, for all your support.
Joshua John Wells
