Found both sheds off of a buck that was on my hit list. I named him the G3 Buck for obvious reasons! We found the sheds on a friends hunting groud roughly 1 3/4 miles from where I was getting trail cam pics of him. I'm just grateful to have been able to put my hands on these bad boys! Hope you enjoy them Dan!

No matter what arrangements nesting boxes are placed, they are never a waste of resources. On all the wetlands we've help manage cluster units have worked rather well. Correct locations and numbers are essential. Wood ducks are not territorial and many wood ducks can successfully share nesting areas and habitat. Intraspecific brood competition can occur in lone exposed locations. Wood ducks mate for life and unlike other species the drake helps aid in the protection of the young after hatching. Placing new nesting boxes and maintaining existing locations is key to keeping the wood duck numbers abundant. Wood ducks are a brilliant species!
